“Papa!” has grown to be one of my favorite phrases.

At the end of a long day, hearing one of my granddaughters yell “Papa!” as she comes running toward me can completely shift my perspective.

Their attitude is one of GIVING encouragement—and I’m glad to receive it!

Champion Attitude is one of our core values at Fulling Management. Does that mean we need to walk around with a smile plastered on our faces all the time? Absolutely not!

To be honest, many days can be a struggle:
> A business opportunity doesn’t come through.
> Home repairs that seem never-ending.
> A concerning diagnosis for a family member.
> Progress on a work project takes longer than expected.
And more…

But then, there are times when things are going really well:
> A great connection with an old friend.
> Raving comments from multiple clients.
> The kids are doing well.
> The marriage is strong.
And more…

Whether it’s a good day or not, a Champion Attitude is often just as simple as:
➡️ Being an encourager (Like little Bristol yelling “Papa” with a big smile on her face).
➡️ Accepting encouragement (Being vulnerable enough to lean into a virtual hug or encouraging word).

Keeping a Champion Attitude means finding joy in both GIVING and GETTING encouragement.

It’s others focused, and is a simple but powerful way to connect—and turn someone’s day around!

Who is your number one encourager?
